Set around one of France's oldest farms (12th century), mediaeval gardens take us back into the spirituality and scents of the Middle Ages.

Conservatoire des meules et des pavés du Bassin d'Epernon

Located in 19th-century stables, the conservatory bears testimony to the work and social life of quarrymen in the last century. It also has temporary and themed exhibitions on bread.

Château de Maintenon

In a magnificent garden designed by Le Nôtre and behind the vestiges of the aqueduct designed by the Sun King, stands the elegant castle, famous for having been home to Madame de Maintenon, the secret spouse of the king.

Château de Maillebois

Castle dating back to the Middle Ages, entirely built in brick. A lasting legend, a minion of Henri II, an exiled marshall and, to top it all off, an aviation pioneer: Maillebois is steeped in history.

Chapelle Royale Saint-Louis

Exceptional exemple of 19th-century art. The neo-gothic chapel and the stained glass windows are signed by the greatest artists of the time: Delacroix, Millet, Ingres, Lenoir, Mercié, Vernet and many more.
