Through the forests of Senonches, Dreux or Anet, you'll find tight trails and open terrain but also "single tracks," and high-skill routes for the real fans of cross-country cycling. Over 500 km of trails in all - one for each level.

In the Perche, the cross-country terrain at Margon is accredited by the Fédération Française de Cyclotourisme and offers a experienced tips and advice.

 

The best cross-country routes:

- 16 circuits in the Perche: 14 starting at Margon - Nogent le Rotrou, 1 from Brou and 1 from the Bazoche Gouët

- 2 circuits in the Vallée de l'Eure starting from Chartres (Lèves), and Courville sur Eure

- 1 circuit in the Forêt domaniale de Châteauneuf en Thimerais

- 1 circuit in the Vallée de l'Avre starting at Tillières sur Avre
