Get hooked! Fishing in the Eure et Loir 

Our region is crisscrossed with clean, quiet rivers, green riverbanks and features several well-stocked lakes for fresh water fishing.  So why not take a fishing vacation in the Eure et Loir? It's a great sport for all ages.

The Eure et Loir offers:

- 175 km of 1st category rivers (on the Avre, the Blaise and the Huisne rivers)

- 542 km of 2nd category rivers

- 300 ha of lakes and ponds

A variety of fishing adventures awaits you from fly fishing to night fishing. You'll find pike, perche and carp. A 16€ sticker from the association EHGO, gives you access to over half the fishing sites in France, in addition to the purchase of your fishing license.

Whether you're looking to catch the "big one," or are simply out for a pleasant day in the country, fishing is a great way to get close to nature, relax and enjoy the beauty of our region!
