The Aigre and Conie: two valleys in the heart of the Beauce

Hidden valleys and protected wetlands just waiting to be discovered!

The Aigre and ConieHidden deep within the Eure-et-Loir, the rivers and wetlands of Aigre and Conie valleys provide a unique wildlife sanctuary. Turning from rivers that can be easily navigated by canoe or kayak, into marshland, the area is perfect for bird-watching.

Along the Conie River, summer is the perfect time to enjoy the green surroundings, but also to see thatched houses, a small chateau at Moléans and several restored mill complete with water wheel.

Don't miss:

The Abbaye de Nottonville, an ancient Benedictine abbey in the Conie Valley.
