The Maison de la Beauce

The Beauce Cultural Center, or Maison de la Beauce, is your introduction to the life and history of this vast farming region.

Located in Orgères-en-Beauce and housed in a restored farm, the Maison de la Beauce features exhibitions and demonstrations designed around three themes: the land, the farmer and the landscape. The “Beaucerons” are a proud people who have worked these lands for many centuries, raising wheat, barley, colza, sugar beets and other crops. Their history – along with tractors and other farming machines – will be of interest to the whole family.
