The Courville sur Eure camping car area is 15km from Chartres on the road of the Perche Regional Nature Park.

Situated close to Maintenon, the residence of the secret wife of Louis XIV, it is the only campsite overlooking the beautiful valley of the Eure and its rich heritage. It is also on the route of the Mont Saint Michel à Vélo cycling trail.

Just outside Châteaudun, a historic town in the Loir valley dominated by the castle of one of Joan of Arc's comrades-in-arms, near the Loir Valley and Perche regions, a rest stop for camper vans near the N10.
