Located at Chartres train station, the Maison du Vélo meets the needs of users travelling within the city for work and tourists who wish to discover the city of Chartres and the green layout of the town by bike.
Two national cycle routes pass through Chartres and the Eure-et-Loir : The Véloscénie Paris - Mont Saint-Michel and the route to Santiago de Compostela. Child seats are also available for hire. Documentation on the cycling network in the Eure-et-Loir is available at the reception desk; as well as tourist information. The Maison du Vélo offers bicycles for hire (city bikes, VTC, electric bikes and children's bikes). It also issues annual subscriptions allowing access to the secure bike shelters of Chartres métropole located in Chartres train station, St Pest guard station and La Taye train station.
