We are lucky Eure et Loir is home to some of France’s richest farmlands which produce an abundance of fresh seasonal food and where cattle roam and graze freely. Apples, pears and farm produce

Nothing is easier than identifying regional produce thanks to the “Terre d'Eure-et-Loir” label on food which guarantees a short and transparent supply chain. Alternatively, you can shop directly at producers’ markets or at farm shops like the Ferme du Verger for prime, locally sourced, seasonal and homemade produce. You can even pick your own apples, strawberries and cherries from the fields and orchards (and sample some along the way -within reason). Such a great way for children to have a hands-on experience of nature in all its summer bounty.
