Welcome to the latest addition to the véloroutes family and one of the most beautiful cycle routes in France: "La Vallée du Loir" cycle route, 320 kilometres long, starts at the source of "Le Loir" (Saint Eman) and finishes at Angers, where it joins "La Loire" cycle route.

Far from the hustle and bustle of cities, ‘La Vallée du Loir’ is a landscape of picturesque villages, vineyards and orchards, as well as a series troglodyte dwellings dug into the tufa rock. It is a quiet paradise just 40 km north of ‘La Loire’. You will love this ride through the countryside with many enjoyable stops and amazing surprises along the way, whether you are just pottering around or cycle touring… The whole route is dotted with small, stylish bistros serving hearty meals, charming locations, unusual places to stop and, of course, all the services, such as hire, repair, etc. that make your cycling holiday so much easier. Carefree, and with everyone going at their own pace - a cycling holiday is a great way to experience the ‘La Vallée du Loir’.
